Experience and the Drama of the Development of Personality |

Abstract: | L.S. Vygotskii was an outstanding generator of problems. This is what makes his texts more than vestigial curiosities. Vygotskii's name is associated mainly with topics such as the development of the higher mental hctions and thought and language; hence the current image of him in the world literature as that of a courageous investigator of cognitive processes. The well-known American scientist J. Bruner said in the 1970s, "Any psychologist who has been concerned with cognitive processes and their development in the last quarter of the century must acknowledge the great influence that the works of Lev Semenovich Vygotskii have had on him."' |
