嘉靖前期裁革冗员述论

嘉靖前期裁革冗员的活动分两个阶段进行,～是杨廷和等人依据世宗即位诏书对正德时期的冗滥予以初步的裁革;二是"大礼新贵"张璁、桂萼等人被重用之后,改变了杨廷和等人的作法,将裁革范围扩大为永乐至正德年间.第二阶段的裁革由于得到世宗的积极支持,故取得了显著的成效.同时,张璁等人制定了相应的对策,较好地防止了冗员的再度严重.这一时期对冗员的裁革具有典型性.

On the Reformation of Dismissing Excessive Officials in Early Jiajing Period

The reformation of dismissing excessive officials in early Jiajing Period was carried out as following two steps.Firstly,Yang Tinghe bloc reduced excessive officials of Zhengde reign,according to emperor Shizong's edict of ascending the throne.Secondly,after had been appointed,the upstart in the strife of Dali,Zhang Cong,Gui'e,changed Yang's means,and extended the scope of dismissing to Yongle reign.Because of emperor Shizong's positive support, the reduction in the second phase acquired remarkable effect. At the same time, policy Zhang Cong enacted successfully forestalled the aggravation of excessiveness of the number of officials again. So,the reformation of reduction in this phase was typical.
