| Abstract: | The structure of the inanimate sentences is one of the most important sentence patterns in English language. Whether an English learner can increase the efficiency of learning English or not depends on the command of this structure to some extent. This paper is to generalize the characteristics and categories of inanimate sentences. Meanwhile, more effective translating techniques will be introduced in accordance with the analysis of each category. The readers are expected to know something about the characteristics and translating techniques. |
