| 摘 要： | 作为公共文化事业的重要一环，中国和日本的图书馆各有短长。改革开放之后，中国的图书馆建设取得了长足的进步，但与日本、美国等发达国家相比较，仍有较大差距。日本的图书馆在服务意识和服务手段上，已然形成了科学、人性化的管理模式，值得中国借鉴。
