语境理论对大学英语阅读的启示

阐述了语境理论的定义及具体内容 ,分析了语境理论对大学英语阅读理解的积极作用。指出阅读技能是一种综合技能 ,同时又是一个“意义重构”的过程 ,因此在阅读教学中 ,学生应该运用语境 ,包括已掌握的语言知识、常识及背景知识等 ,给情景模式补充细节 ,在理解空档中嵌进新的成分 ,从而对生疏词汇、复杂句式所形成的阅读障碍进行合理解读。提出一系列的方法与对策 ,建议把语言层面和语境含义紧密结合 ,培养学生的语境意识 ,从而提高学生的阅读理解能力。

Implications of Context Reading on Teaching of College English Reading in China

This thesis illustrates the theories of context, showing the positive effect on reading process. It also points out that reading is not only a comprehensive skill but also a meaning reconstruction process. Therefore, students should be taught to read by context clues. Some strategies are also given to make the students more aware of context so as to improve the students reading skills.
