| Abstract: | This paper attempts to expound Saman religion and its relationship to the Red Mansion. The study comes to the conclusion that both Saman and Han cultures contribute to the book of the Red Mansion. Only under the author's family background and to the personal experience within its social, historical context, does the reflected Saman religious belief in the Red Mansion become possible. The religion belief of Saman embodies in the Red Mansion, and is artistically elevated and transformed by the author. |
