| 摘 要： | １８８０年，华人伍廷芳入立法局打破港英政府机构由英人垄断的局面，是香港华人在英殖民统治下参与管理香港事务的开始，是华人实力增强、地位上升的重要标志。华人地位上升的根本原因是经济实力的增强，另外，具有人道主义与自由主义思想的轩尼诗港督给华人参政提供了难得的历史机遇，并在客观上成为港英转变对华统治方式的起点。同时，华人参政并不意味着华人获得管理香港事务的真正权力。

| Abstract: | In 1880, Chinese Wu Ting-fang' s entering Hong Kong Legislation Bureau broke the phase of Englishman's monopolizing Hong Kong government organization, which was the commencement of Chinese' participating in the Hong Kong' s common affairs and the symbol of Chinese' strengthening and status' ascending. That ascending was mainly due to the Chinese' strengthening in economy. Besides, Hong Kong' s Governor Hennessy, who is filled with humanitarianism and liberalism idea, offered a rare historical opportunity and his governing became the start of the changes in the colonial ruling pattern. At the same time, Chinese' participating didn't predict that they had really got the power of managing Hong Kong' s common affairs. |
