本文从地方文献中匈稽搜寻出有关《浮生六记》作者沈复的零星材料，经过排比分析，考证了沈复游历琉球的时间与真相、晚岁曾久客江苏如皋县府作幕友，和他的卒年时间，以及他的书画创作等四事，并提出了自己的新观点。

In this paper are presented new viewpoints on four pieces of in formation about Shen Fu the author of Fusheng Liuji (Gossips about an Un eventful Life ill six parts)by making a comparative analysis of fragmentary ma terials sought out from a rich source of local literature. In addition to a study ofdate of his death, such episodes as the time and truth of his tour around theRyukyu Islands, his experience as a clerk or an assistant in the service of a cer tain magistrate of Rugao County in the Province of Jiangsu in his late years,and some of his calligraphy and painting.
