康熙不仅是一位伟大的思想家、政治家,也是一名饶有成就的文学艺术家。他凭借帝王之尊的地位,实施了一套笼络汉族知识分子、有利清王朝政权巩固的文艺政策。具体表现为:明确文艺在其治国方略中的地位,开科取士以重铸文艺的创作主体,编纂文艺典籍以圈定士子的学习范围,优礼文艺人才以结其心,反对浮饰之言以提倡文质适中的文风等。

ON EMPEROR KANGXI'S POLICIES OF LITERATURE AND ART

Emperor Kangxi was not only a great statesman and thinker, but also a man of literature and arts. During his reign, in order to keep the stability of Qing dynasty, he had practiced series of policies of literature and art to unite literati of Han nationality. The policies include: making clear the role of literature and art in the ruling of the country, absorbing literati as the main force of literacy and artistic creation, compiling books to scope the range of literatis study, uniting with literary and art workers, opposing ornate style and advocating a practical one, all of which were very practical.
