吴江南社社员作图寄意说

清末与民国年间，南社社员为寄托种种思想情绪，有作图寄意之举。此类作图寄意，不会少于百件。作图寄意融文章、诗歌、词曲、绘画、书法、篆刻多种艺术于一体，具有深广的社会内容，丰富的艺术含量。近年来，在吴地，出现过一些零星的册页，虽然一麟半爪，但价值依然非常。本文探讨之余，更想抛砖引玉，挖掘得更多的遗存。
