摘    要:英语教学的最终目的是培养学生的综合应用能力,即学生能够运用英语进行恰当、得体的交际能力。但是,语言能力并不等于语用能力。具备扎实的语言知识的学习者,不一定就能得体地进行交流。当前,很多英语专业学生在交际时存在语用失误,这些失误无疑会给对外交际带来消极的后果。因此,通过对英语专业学生语用失误现象及原因进行分析,抓住外显学习与内隐学习的相互转化、相互作用、相互依存的这一本质,将二者有机结合并运用到英语专业的英语教学中,提出有效提高英语专业学生语用能力的具体教学策略,具有极为重要的现实意义。

Abstract:The ultimate aim of English teaching is to cultivate the students' comprehensive ability,i, e. the ability to communicate with native speakers appropriately and gracefully. However, language competence is not equal to pragmatic competence. It is not uncommon for students with solid linguistic knowledge to have pragmatic fail- ure ,which will undoubtedly have negative effect on their communication. On the basis of analyzing English ma- jors' pragmatic failure, this paper states the co-existing and complementary essence of implicit and explicit learn- ing mechanisms and their important roles in English learning. Then, it further suggests an organic integration and application of two learning mechanisms to English teaching. Accordingly, this paper proposes some practical teaching strategies to improve English majors' pragmatic competence.
