论刘绍棠的乡土文学理论

On Liu Shao-tang's Original Theory of Native-soil Literature

Liu Shao-tang's theory of native land literature basically formed in 1981. Five main points in his theory can be summed up: 1. To insist on the Party spirit principle and socialistic character in literary creation.2.To persist in the realistic tradition.3 .To embody Chinese manner,to carry forward and develop national style.4.To display the local feature.5.To describe the local condition and customs of the countryside,the historical and epoch fate of farmer's. Liu's theory of native land literature and his literary creation contract finely with each other.His theory and creative works complement each other.To survey Liu's theory and practice,it was self-evident: he bassed on the social- ist direction and revolutionary realism from beginning to end.To some degree,he not only followed Mao Ze-dong's literary and artistic idea, but also develop it.Thus Liu is prominent in today's literary circles.
