摘    要:在英语教学中,不少老师受应试教育的影响,忽视了文化背景知识对语言的重要作用,培养出来的学生尽管语言知识掌握得很好,但却缺乏在不同场合恰当使用语言的能力。我们只有加强语言文化的导入,重视语言文化的偶同和差异及其对语言的影响,学生才能在语言交际中游刃有余。

Abstract:English teachers, driven by examination - oriented education, highlight language skills in their teaching at the cost of the knowledge in relation to the cultural background so that their students, though competent in language, are poor in performance. This situation can only be improved with consideration to the importance of cultural factors together with their influences on language learning.
