| 摘 要： | 现代汉语助动词"会"一表有能力做某事或善于做某事,一表可能性.一般认为后者是从前者发展来的,但从语言的发展看二者有不同的来源前者是由表"理解"义的动词"会"演变来的,时间是在晚唐五代;后者是从中古助动词"会"功能扩展而成的.中古助动词"会"起源于表"会合"义的动词"会",形成时间约在汉魏之际.

| Abstract: | The verb "hui" auxiiary verb"hui" has two meanings in current Chinese: capability and possibility. And the latter meaning is generally conceived as derived from the former. However, seen from the development of language, they have different origins. The former stems from "hui", the verb that signifies "understand" in late Tang and Five Dynasties; while the latter comes from the expansion of the functions of the auxiliary verb "hui" in mid-ancient times, which originates from the verb "hui" signifying "get together" in the Han and Wei times. |
