形似而实异：五四散文与晚明小品

周作人关于五四新文学运动是"历史的言志派文艺运动之复兴"以及晚明小品与英国随笔"合成"中国现代散文"源流"的主张,对于维护文学的自主性、自觉性以及在对待传统与现代、中与西的态度上,值得重视。但周作人这一主张自身存在着粗疏片面之处,许多后续研究也多表现为"重同略异",在"同"的梳理归纳上较为详细,而在"异"的辨析总结上则不够深入具体。这容易导致对五四散文意义估价不足。无论从时代文化背景,创作主体的创作态度、审美取向、知识构成,还是从文学功能,散文体式各方面看,二者之间都只是相似相近,而有着本质的不同,是形同而实异的。

Resemblance in Form and Difference in Essence: Prose in May 4 Movement and Essays in Later Ming Dynasty

Zhou Zuoren advocated that The New Literature Movement in May 4 Movement was the renascence of Literature and Art Movement of historic Yanzhi School, the origin and development of the contemporary prose of China was made up of essays in later Ming dynasty and English essays.It's worthwhile for us to pay attention to the autonomous characteristic and consciousness of safeguarding the literature,and how to deal with traditional literature,contemporary literature and the combination of Chinese and Western,but some carelessness and one-sidedness exists in Zhou Zuoren's viewpoint.Many later researches stressed resemblance,but neglected the difference.They induced the "resemblance" in detail,but gave a sketchy research about the "difference".It's easy to cause insufficient estimation for the sense of prose in May 4 Movement.Either we discuss them from the view of the culture background of the times,authors' attitudes,aesthetic trend and the structure of knowledge or from the view of literature function and prose style.There're some differences in essence between them.They show the resemblance in Form,but difference in Essence.
