试论民国时期科技治蝗事业的开展

民国时期近代科学思维体系渐为中国学界接受，一群西学学者将近代自然科学知识、研究方法引入到治蝗中。从介绍国外研究成果、引进经验，到设置治蝗研究机构进行实地调查，开展农事试验，再到开创本土化的化学除蝗方法，模拟研发自己的治蝗器具，逐步将传统的经验性、描述性的治蝗转向科学的、分析性的治蝗，为现代科学治蝗事业打了坚实基础。

A Preliminary Study on the Scientific Prevention and Control of Locust Diseases During Republican Period

During the period of the Republican China,the modern scientific knowledge and research methods were introduced to the study on locust control by some returned students.They firstly passed on experience of relevant achievements of foreign countries,then carried on experiment and inspection for locusts through establishing locust elimination research institutes,finally they began to produce the control methods and manufacture locust eliminating appliances.The pattern of locust control was progressively transformed from traditional research through experience and describing disaster conditions scientific to analytic research,what they had done laid foundation to contemporary scientific locust control career.
