| 摘 要： | 科林·麦卡洛<荆棘鸟>表达了强烈的女权主义思想:三代女性为改变命运在家庭与社会范围内反叛传统道德规范的抗争,展现了19世纪末到20世纪60年代,女性冲破男权社会概定的附属性的角色定位,在积极争取爱情婚姻自由、人格独立的艰辛历程中寻求女性社会地位的平等.

| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the sensational experiences of the female characters in Colleen McCullough's The Thorn Birds.Through revealing the process of women's struggle with male domination from the last decades of 19th century to the early 20th in Australia,this paper further presents woman's dissatisfactions over male domination and their refusal to be fixed with the images that male class forced on them.In the process of conflicts with male domination,Women's self-consciousness gets matured and their strive for liberty and equality in love and marriage,in social and family life continues. |
