翻译的文化传输功能是显而易见的,通过译者的努力,使多种文化间建立起对话关系,《京华烟云》是林语堂用英文写作的长篇小说,但由于他的文化身份及文本中国文化特征,使其具有翻译的特征又彰显出文本的文化间性特征。文章试图通过具体实例分析,阐释哲学意向翻译的文化间性特征,呈现文化间的交互对话关系在文化传输中的强大动力。

Research on the Cultural Inter-ness in the Translation of A Moment in Peking

In the process of translation,with the effort of the translator,the dialogue could be made between cultures.Hence,the function of cultural output becomes undoutful.Lin Yutang,the writer of Moment in Peking,carried out a successful cultural output by writing the novel in English.The essay is to show that the cultural inter-ness of translation with the case study and also to indicate the great power of cultural dialogue in cultural output.
