| Abstract: | The texts of novels of the Song and Yuan Dynasty were in fact written in the Ming Dynasty and were adaptations by later scholars and not the original. Thus, these texts are quite different from those popular in the Song and the Yuan Dynasty in term of oral discourse and folk literature. Therefore, it is not proper for us to study the oral discourse and the texts of the Song and the Yuan Dynasty through an analysis of the texts written in the Ming Dynasty. |
