The auther is an officer at Suzhou Vocational University,who recalled an emergency in 2009.Barry,a foreign teacher from Australia suddenly got ill and was sent to the ICU just one day after his arrival at the university.With all the mess,the auther contacted the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu and Suzhou,the Consulate General of Australia in Shanghai,and Barry’s insurance agency.Barry was send to Hongkong via Shanghai,and recovered later.It turned out that he had come down with Swine Flu(H1N1),which had not been found in China at the time.
