摘    要:本文就一项为期四年的英语口语教学实验进行分析.实验中,英语专业的两组学生由同一教师采用同一教材以两种不同的纠错方式进行教学:对第一组学生采取有错必纠的方式,而对第二组学生的错误则采取宽容﹑听之任之的态度.实验的统计结果表明:第一组学生在改正错误和避免错误方面明显优于第二组学生;第二组学生的语言交际能力较强,在话语交流过程中没有出现第一组学生普遍存在的拘谨﹑焦急的情形.因此,这两种纠错态度都有其优势和弊端,理想的英语口语教学应是这两种纠错态度的有机结合.

Abstract:This paper reports a four-year empirical study of two different attitudes towards oral English errors committed by Chinese students.The errors of the first group students are corrected immediately and constantly during their English language communicative activities,while the errors of the second are regarded with great tolerance,and thus not corrected.The result of the research indicates that the first group have greatly improved in pronunciation,sense of group and sentence structure and grammar;the second group show little anxiety but great self-confidence when speaking English.Therefore,each group have advantages and disadvantages;it is suggested to combine two attitudes together in dealing with the students' oral English errors.
