中国社会现代化正处于重新启动全面推进的重要历史时期 ,这一时期现代化的国际国内条件也表现得最为成熟。从国内条件看 ,政治上表现为现代化理论和领导集体的成熟 ;经济上我国建立了门类齐全的现代工业体系和社会主义市场经济体制 ;社会条件上形成了全面开放的社会架构和国民的成熟。从国际条件看 ,时代特征显现出的现代化新特点 ,使中国现代化条件处于最好的时期。和平与发展的时代主题 ,使中国周边安全环境处于最好的时期 ;全球经济一体化进程加快 ,中国利用世界市场的条件成熟 ;世界现代化正处于平稳的间歇期 ,中国缩短与发达国家差距的时机成熟 ;早发现代化国家提供给中国的现代化经验和教训也相对丰富和成熟。

On Maturation Condition of China's Social Modernization

China is in a very important period in which Chinese social modernization is well on its way. In this period, the conditions at home and abroad is perfectly matured. At home, we have built a modern theory and a mature leading group in politics. In economy, we have established a complete system of modern industry and a socialist market economy. In society, we have formed an comprehensively open social structure and the maturity of our people. Abroad, the world has entered a new era with new characteristics: Peace and Development has become the thesis of the era, which enables China to have a secure environment. The process of the world economic unification has been accelerated, which matures the China's condition to use world market. The rate of the world modernization is in an interval, and this helps to shorten the distance between China and the developed countries. Also, the experience and lessons we got from the early-modernized countries have become mature.
