After the failure of the Great Revolution, the CPC members realized that mobilizing the peasants was the decisive factor for the Party to consolidate its position in the rural areas and hence pass the hard period. While opening up revolutionary bases in the rural areas, the CPC, represented by Mao Ze-dong, formed its specific efficient methods to mobilize the peasants.
