帛书《易经》今古文字考

帛书《易经》文字有用今文者,有用古文者,亦复有同一字今古文混用者。这表明先秦典籍流传到西汉以后,确实存在以今文定章句、明通假而改古文为今文的情况。但这种改易大抵以弟子能够读懂为依归,今古文并不判若水火,更无是非之分。汉哀帝之前的学派争执完全反映在今文一系内部齐学与鲁学之间。

On Usage of Contemporary and Ancient Words in Silk-Written Book of Changes

There exists mixed usage of contemporary and ancient forms in silk-written volumes Book of Changes. Some volumes use contemporary forms, some ancient ones, and some mixed ones. This is a proof that after the Western Han Dynasty, ancient works passed down from early the Qing Dynasty were changed in conformity to contemporary standard either in word or punctuation or passage. Nevertheless, these adjustments were not a radical and drastic deviation from the original; and the so called contemporary ancient-works served the purpose for better understanding by the disciples.
