WuYi 吴仪 A string of commitments by China to narrow the Sino-US trade gap has shown China's goodwill, suggests Vice-Premier Wu Yi, who led a business delegation to the United States in early April. On April 11, 2006, Wu co-chaired the 17th meeting of the Sino-US Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade in Washington, with US Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez and US Trade Representative Rob Portman.
