近代上海港地位的再评价

学者们通常认为上海港是近代中国最重要的港口,是远东的航运中心.本文从地方、国家、国际三个角度,对上海港的地位重新进行了评价,认为从地方角度上看,近代上海港是长三角港口群中最重要的港口;从国家角度上看,上海港只是中国中部和北部的枢纽港;从国际角度上看,上海港是远东重要的港口之一,但在某种程度上又只是作为日本港口的支线港.

A Re evaluation of the Role of Shanghai Port in Early Modern Times

Many scholars hold that Shanghai was China''s most important port and the shipping center in Far East in early modern times. This paper gives a re evaluation of the role of Shanghai Port from the local, national and international perspectives, and concludes that from the local perspective, Shanghai Port was the most important one in the port network in the Yangtze River Delta Region; from the national perspective, Shanghai Port was only the hub port in the central and northern regions of China; from the international perspective, Shanghai Port was one of the most important ports in Far East, but in a certain sense only a feeder port to the Japanese port network.
