Review of Critique Practice by the Classical Female Chinese Qu Writers

Classical female Chinese Qu writers were very active in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty. Most of them were Qu writers with a small number of Qu critics. Their writings are varied and their critique is rich and colorful, which dealt mostly with the Qu by female writers, verses for theatrical work as well as the Qu by male writers on women's lives and inner feelings. The critique style of the classical female Chinese Qu critics is fine and exquisite. It demonstrated their unique perspective and understanding. It is a vital part of the history of classic literary criticism, female literary criticism and the history of female Qu as well.
