| 摘 要： | 目前我国现行大学英语教学大纲是１９８５ 年制定的，其间曾于１９９１ 年作过一次微调。８５ 年版大纲对我国大学英语教学所起的推动作用是空前的，但随着我国改革开放的深入，开始出现明显的滞后。笔者通过在国外亲身的感受，并结合多年从事大学英语教学的实践，详细分析了旧大纲在词汇量的规定、词汇的释义、以及对文化上的要求等种种不足。希望正在进行的对旧大纲的修订工作，能在这方面有个突破

| Abstract: | Chinese students abroad experience difficulties in communicating with English speaking people in many ways. In the author's opinion, one of the most important factors is the teaching of vocabulary, which relates closely to the teaching syllabus. This essay holds that more work has to be done on the revising of the current teaching syllabus, so as to fundamentally improve the teaching of vocabulary . |
