An Analysis of the Marxist Concept of Well-being

Marxist concept of well-being is based on dialectical materialism and historical materialism. It combines well-being with material life, hard work and collectivism. Therefore, by comparing Marxist concept of well-being with those of similar categories, eg. well-being with man＇s needs, with happiness, with wealth, and with a society as well as its systems, we can see that needs and desires are the driving forces for the pursuit of well-being, happiness is the superficial characteristic of well-being,and wealth is the external condition of well-being,which will better our understanding of the Marxist concept of well-being.
