摘    要:本文从战略的市场观出发,探讨敏捷制造战略的决策机理,以及数字化制造技术对决策模型的影响.通过对敏捷制造战略、制造战略一致性、使能技术等理论的研究,本文认为竞争优先权在市场环境认知对敏捷制造战略的作用中不仅仅起到了间接效应,还有可能起到中介效应.而且企业数字化制造技术和信息技术的应用程度对于敏捷制造战略的决策起到了调节作用.在理论假设的基础上,本文构建了结构方程模型,包括市场环境认知对敏捷制造战略的总效应模型,以及竞争优先权的中介效应模型.在国际制造业战略调查2005(International Manufacturing Strategy Survey,IMSSⅣ)的支持下,本文对假设进行验证分析.实证结果显示,竞争优先权具有显著的中介效应,甚至是完全中介效应.而数字化制造技术和信息技术的应用程度,也对敏捷制造战略的决策起到了显著的调节效应.

Abstract:Based on the market-based theory,this paper aims to reveal the decision-making mechanism of agile manufacturing strategy and the effect of digitized manufacturing & information technologies on the agile manufacturing strategy decision model.Two hypotheses are formulated based on the literature review of agile manufacturing strategy,fit theory of manufacturing strategy and enabling technology:(1) competitive priority mediates the decision process of the market-oriented agile manufacturing strategy;and(2) the application of digitized manufacturing & information technologies play moderating effect on the decision model of agile manufacturing strategy.The proposed hypotheses include the total effect model of the cognition of market environment,the mediating effect model of competitive priority,and moderating effect model of CAX-ICT/ERP technology on the agile manufacturing strategy decision.The structural equation model is formulated to reveal the relationship among cognition of market,competitive priority,agile manufacturing strategy and digitized manufacturing & information technologies.In this paper,the digitized manufacturing is represented by CAX.Information technologies investigated in this study include information and communication technologies(ICT) and ERP.To clearly reveal the internal mechanism of decision-making process of agile manufacturing strategy,the agile manufacturing strategy is divided into flexibility and speed sub-strategies. This study is based on the fourth round of the International Manufacturing Strategy Survey(IMSS-IV) in 2005.The objective of this survey is to discover manufacturing strategies on a global scale and at a national level,and to establish a common database on manufacturing strategies,practices,and results.A total of 671 valid samples selected from IMSS-IV are included in this research to empirically test our proposed hypotheses.Amos 17.0 is selected to analyze the total effect of cognition of market environment,the meditating effect of competitive priority and the moderating effect of CAX-ICT/ERP technology.The classic Baron and Kenny method is applied to test the mediating effect of competitive priority.The multiple-group analysis method is used to test the moderating effect of CAX-ICT/ERP technology. The data analysis process includes three main steps.Firstly,we verify the total effect of the cognition of market environment on the agile manufacturing strategy.The results show that the cognition of market environment significantly correlates with agile manufacturing strategy(p<0.01).Secondly,we test the mediating effect of competitive priority.The analysis result reveals that the cognition of market environment significantly correlates with agile manufacturing strategy(p<0.01) and the competitive priority also significantly correlates with agile manufacturing strategy(p<0.01).While comparing to the total effect model,the impact of cognition of market environment on the agile manufacturing strategy in the mediating model is significantly weaker.Specially,the cognition of market environment doesn’t impact the speed strategy significantly(p=0.821).These results show that the competitive priority mediates the relationship between the cognition of market environment and the agile manufacturing strategy;the cognition of market environment mediates the flexibility strategy.Finally,we verify the moderating effect of CAX-ICT/ERP technology.The results of multiple-group analysis show that CAX-ICT/ERP technology significantly moderates the agile manufacturing strategy.All hypotheses are supported. To those manufacturing companies that highly apply CAX-ICT/ERP technology,the market span and market concentration influence the agile manufacturing strategy.In contrast,companies with low application of CAX-ICT/ERP technology emphasize on the speed strategy and their agile manufacturing strategies are mainly impacted by the market span.
