| Abstract: | The Tang Dynasty is an important one in Chinese history. Its supervisory system inherited those of the previous ones in some degree , but had experienced some important innovations and had its own characteristics. The governors set great stor by the supervisory system, and established sound institutions with proper personnel . Both the institutions and the personnel had clear functions. The appointments of officials were systematically strict. All these not only affected greatly the four dynasties of Song , Yuan , Ming and Qing , but, to some extent, enlightens the supervisory work in this age. |
