| 摘 要： | 《麦田里的守望者》被称为当代美国文学的"现代经典",小说中的主人公霍尔顿·考菲尔德更是美国文学史上最著名的文学形象之一。红色这一文体特征在小说中的反复出现展示了小说主人公霍尔顿·考菲尔德这一美国二十世纪五六十年代代表人物叛逆、激进、热情同时又软弱的性格特征并进而揭示出小说的主题及"灵魂"所在。

| Abstract: | The Catcher in the Rye is considered as one of the modern classics in the postwar American literature, and its protagonist Holden Caulfield is one of the most popular literary figures in American literary history. By the stylistic interpretation of the repetitive symbols of color red, this essay tries to present Holden's characters of rebellion, radicalness, enthusiasm, as well as limpness and thus reveal the theme and soul of the novel. |
