《诗经》之“荼”字考证

摘    要:文章针对茶文化论著中对《诗经》有关诗句的错误理解,从字源学、名物学、植物学、文学文本等角度对《诗经》中有关的诗句进行剖析与论证:《诗经》中“荼”字不是指“茶”,而是一种“苦菜”。茶文学的源头不应在《诗经》时代。

Abstract:This article is discussing in view of the related verse wrong understanding with the treatise of tea culture to "the Book of songs". To dissect and prove the verses in "the Book of Songs" from angles such as the character origins, the name and description of a thing, botany, literature text and so on. Because of "the bitter edible plant" formed earlier, it is simply impossible has "the tea" the meaning; "the bitter edible plant" and "the tea" are both far from the literal description and the contour; Former generation of poetry studies also translates to the related verse translation " the bitter edible plant" is "the sow thistle". So it is concluded that " the bitter edible plant" of "the Book of Songs " not refers to "the tea" ,but one kind "the sow thistle", it will be proved beneficial judgment to the tea literature if the origin of tea culture not prouduced in Zhou Dynasty.
