On the Necessity of Building a Harmonious Society in Terms of Early Conflict Theory

In a sense,sociology aims at the study of social order and social improvement.Western sociologists primarily insisting on the theory of social conflict hold that social order is not formed in a spontaneous way,but through mutual gaming based on conflicts of interests and roles between social activists.At present,the theory of building a harmonious society is the one from which we can draw lessons.The essay utilizes relevant ideologies of conflict theory of western sociologists,like Karl Marx,Simmel,Marx Weber and Dahrendorf,analyzes the theory and reality of current social conflicts,and elaborates the inspiration and guidance of social conflict theory to the establishment of a harmonious society.
