| Abstract: | In the buying ＆ selling under a CIF or CFR clause, arrangements for chartering and ordering shipping space are made by the seller and he is under an obligation to ensure the safe transporting of goods to the unloading port and to pay fright and unloading charges at the port of shipment. But if both parties have some special terms attached in the CIF contract, the burden of demurrages may be shared between the buyer and seller. |
