论文化转型与翻译的定位

在当前的文化转型期,各国文化多元共生,平等互补,人们在文化交流和意识形态上采取既反对文化霸权主义又反对文化中心主义的策略。翻译作为文化交流的重要手段,应该以繁荣民族文化和世界文化为目的,以文化的“平等对话”和“求同存异”为准则,采取偏重“异化”的翻译方法。翻译工作者也要顺应时代的要求,扮演“画家”和“盗火者”的双重形象。

On Cultural Transformation and Siting of Translation

At the period of the cultural transformation,cultures of different nations co-exist peacefully on equal terns and mutual benefit is one of the main features of cultural communication.People ideologically adopt a strategy that aims to reverse the concept of cltral hegemony and ethnocentrism.Translation,as a means of communication between different cultures,should based on the principle of "letting different cultures have dialogue with each other "and" accepting difference and appreciating similarities",by adopting foreignzation as the basic strategy of translation,in the hope of prospering national and world culture.Translators are also demanded to play the role of "artist" and "Prometheus",so as to comply with the trend of cultural transformation.
