摘    要:中学新课程改革的基本目标是构建符合素质教育要求的基础教育课程体系。在此背景下,中学教师需要承受比其他任何时候更大的挑战,特别是思想政治(品德)课程教师,由于其职业任务不单是知识传授,更重要的是灵魂塑造,所以面临的压力更大,尤其需要具有鲜明的马克思主义的政治觉悟和政治水平,良好的诚信观念、敬业观念和责任观念以及相信法律、遵守法律、依法办事的法治观念;同时必须具备较强的授课能力、学习和研究能力以及良好的亲和能力,全面提升自己的职业素质,这样才能适应新课程改革的需要。

Abstract:The new curriculum reform in secondary schools aims at constructing a basic curriculum system in accordance with the requirements of quality-oriented education. Therefore, teachers of secondary schools, esp. moral education teachers, are facing more pressure as their classes concern with the formation of students' ideology. They themselves must have a clear Marxist consciousness, high political level, professional ethics, and legal sense. Besides, teachers of moral education must be compatible and competent to teach and study. Only in this way can teachers of moral education meet the requirements of new curriculum reform.
