寒士诗群的地域特征及清代江南寒士的文化性格

士作为一个并非固止的阶层历来有着士大夫与寒士的朝野分流，这种朝野分流决定了士人社会职事的“志于道”与“游于艺”的分工。诗“穷者而后工”，寒士以其生活际遇的隐幽沉沦而创作了更具生活真实性、更富现实包容量、也更具艺术感染力的诗歌，因而寒士诗歌有着相当重要的文学史意义。本文为清代嘉道时期江南寒士诗群研究系列论文之一，主要从文学生态地理学的角度，论列寒士诗群的地域特征及清代江南寒士的文化性格。

A Study of Regional Characteritics of the Poor Scholar Poets and the Cultural Personality of the Poor Scholars to the South of Yangtze in Qing Dynasty

Scholars as an unsettled class in feudal China has the distinctive categories of scholar-bureaucrats and poor scholars.Such distinction led to the division of social functions.The scholar-bureaucrats were preoccupied with an official career and mainstream morality while the poor scholars gave free rein to aesthetic creations.It is said that a poet enjoys craftsmanship only when he lives a poor life.The poor scholar poets retired from the vicissitudes of an official career,sometimes from the world, so that their poems enjoy more authentic interpretation of life's complexity and truth as well as greater artistic appeal to the readers.Their poems have been recognized as being endowed with significance in the history of the national literature.This treatise is one of the series on poems by poor scholar poets to the South of Yangtze during Jiaqing (1796-1820)and Daoguang(1821-1850)Monarchs in Qing Dynasty.It illustrates regional characteristics of the poor scholar poets and the cultural personality of the poor scholars to the South of Yangtze in Qing Dynasty with an literary,eco geographic point of view.
