| Abstract: | The author makes a textual research on the meaning of name Ji Ran and rectifies some incorrect theories. The author believes that Ji Ran is a minister of Yue State Under the rule of Gou Jian and the teacher of Fan Li. Ji Ran's strategies and thought are also studied. |
