摘    要:邓小平教育思想作为一个有机的整体,是当代中国教育理论中最具特色的标志性成果."三个面向"思想有着丰富的内涵,它以现代化建设为中心,统一于促进人的全面发展、培养社会主义"四有"新人的根本目标."三个面向"确立了我国教育改革与发展的全新价值取向,因而成为邓小平教育思想中最具原创性的核心内容.

Abstract:As an organically integrated system, Deng Xiaoping's educational thoughts are the most remarkable and characteristic adievements in modern China's educational theories. With its rich connotation, "Thre Directions to Face (the three directions towards which education should be geared: modernization, the world, and the future)" takes modern construction as its centre and has the goal of promoting People's comprehensive development and bringing forth a new generation of well-educated and self-disciplined people with lofty ideals and moral integrity. "Three Directions to Face" has established a completely new value orientation for China's reform and development and has become the most original and most important part in Deng Xiaoping's educational thoughts.
