| 摘 要： | 英语多义词的教学一直以来都是词汇教学中的难题,枯燥机械的教学方法使学生丧失了学习多义词的兴趣。随着认知语言学的发展,人们发现隐喻可以导致许多新的意义的产生,掌握它们对语言学习和教学都非常有帮助。以隐喻为基础,探讨其在多义词教学中的应用,以使英语学习者更加深刻地理解多义词的含义及用法。

| Abstract: | In polysemy teaching,translation and mechanical explanation are likely to deprive students of interest in language learning.With the development of cognitive linguistics,metaphorical extensions of lexicons have been found.Based on the application of metaphor in polysemy teaching,English learners will have an easy and profound understanding of polysemous words. |
