| 摘 要： | 词的意义往往都是由词汇意义和语法意义两部分构成，其中的词汇词义时常出现变化的现象。运用义素分析法，分析英语词汇发生词义演变的类型，主要有义素增添、义素脱落、义素变更三种义素变化方式，并对词义演变方面应用的利弊进行探讨。

| Abstract: | The meaning of a word consists of lexical, meaning and grammatical meaning. The lexical meaning of a word is in constant change. By seme analysis, this paper classifies the evolution of word sense into sememe addition, sememe loss and sememe change. It concludes with the advantages and disadvantages of the application of the theory. |
