非英语专业大学生英语学习心理探析

吉林师范大学四个学院二年级200名学生的问卷调查表明,31％的学生愿意学习英语;42％认为学习英语很烦,并且很困难;而剩下的27％认为学习英语没有必要,根本就不学。这就给大学英语教师提出了一个非常严峻的问题:如何让这部分学生学习英语?对此笔者探讨分析了影响大学生学习英语的六种心理因素,即:对教材本身产生的厌烦心理;自卑心理;思想上对英语学习认识的偏差;要求高素质的英语教师的心理;急功近利心理;缺乏坚忍不拔的学习毅力,并对此采取了一些策略。

A Probing and Analysis of College Students' Psychology on English Study of Non - English Majors

This paper aims to investigate into the psychology of non - English majors in studying English . Based on the statistical results of a sell - reported investigation on 200 second - year students, the author attempts to explore their psychological factors which affect them to study English, namely, the bordom for the textbooks used, sense of inferiority, deviations for learning English in thinking, eagerness for quick success and instant benefits, psche for high quality of English teachers, lacking firm and indomitable study will. At the same time, the thesis provides some strategies for teachers to improve their teaching.
