浅说中国佛教文化

印度佛教自汉末传入中国 ,与中国儒道思想经过矛盾磨合而成为中国传统文化的一部分 ,极大地影响了中国的社会生活和文人的精神生活。而作为中国佛教的禅在人生价值、思维方式等方面对文人的精神及艺术产生了巨大的作用。特别体现于王维的充满禅境的诗歌和苏轼随缘任运进退裕如的人生方式。

On the Chinese Culture of Buddhism

After its entry into China at the end of Han Dynasty,the Hindu Buddhism has been integrated into Chinese culture after its conflict and combination with Confucianism.It has had an enormous influence upon the Chinese society as well as on the spiritual life of the Chinese intellectuals.And Chan Buddhism (Zen) with its typical Chinese features has had special influence upon the mentality and the artistic creation of the Chinese intellectuals in terms of their life values and modes of thought.This is particularly shown in the poems by Wang Wei for his artistic conception of Chan Buddhism and in the modes of living of Zu Shi with his adaptation to conditions.
