| 摘 要： | 京师同文馆既是晚清外交走向近代化的产儿,也是晚清外交近代化的推动者.同文馆在对近代西方外交观念的传播,参与对西方的外交考察、驻外使领馆制度的完善以及对外交人员的培养等方面都做出了一定的贡献.但同洋务运动的其他事业的命运一样,同文馆并没有改变晚清外交被宰割的命运.

| Abstract: | Tongwen College was not only one of the products of the diplomacy modernization in late Qing Dynasty but also the promoter of it.Tongwen College made certain contribution to the spreading of the modern west diplomatic notion,to the participation in western diplomatic exploration,to the perfection of the system of embassies and consulates and to the cultivating of diplomacy.But like the other causes of Westernization movement,Tongwen College did not change the fate of late Qing diplomacy being devastated. |
