Political Consciousness and Political Participation of the Aristocratic Families in the Six Dynasties--Take Wang Clan for Example

Aristocratic families in the Six Dynasties actually were the leading families for generations. They had unusual relationship with politics. In this background, the Wang Clan, which was one of the leading Aristocratic families in the Six Dynasties, was of the most special. All activities of the Wang Clan family had always been inseparable from the main line of politics, to an extraordinary extent, and were dependent on poli- tics. To discuss political consciousness and political behaviors of Wang Clan from the microscopic point of view is significant for deep study on the political history of the Six Dynasties.
