论五四前后的世界主义

受一战影响，源于西方的世界主义在20世纪初开始传入中国，五四前后渐成一种具有重大影响力的社会思潮。以陈独秀为代表的早期共产主义者，以孙中山为代表的国民党人和以梁启超为代表的研究系知识群，作为活跃于彼时中国思想文化舞台上的三大政治力量，都或隐或现地表现出世界主义思想倾向。于政治观上言之，他们世界主义虽各有所张，然亦显见其相类之处，或谓为原有国家主义、民族主义和爱国意识在中国具体情势下之调整，其世界主义背后的深沉国家关怀清晰可见。
