In its formation and development,modern liberalism has always been exposed to criticism and questioning and its theory and practice of autonomy has also faced will challenges.Prompted by the spirit of tolerance,liberalism has gradually overcome its own defects.From human rights to sovereignty,from rational mutual recognition to expedients,it has developed from autonomy to co-government in many fields such as theory,system design and political practice,so that it can find breaches from various predicaments.
