The Interaction and Complementarity between the Market and the Government: A Comparative Study on the Liberalism Economics of two schools

There exist no strict conflicts and substitutes between the spontaneous liberalism economics and the rational liberalism economics. Sharing the same liberal foundation, both schools emphasize the key role of the market in allocating resources efficiently and claim that the market's role equals that of the government's. Based on different philosophic grounds, the two parties differ a lot in understanding the concepts such as freedom, rationality and law, which lead to different attitudes toward the passive or active role of the government under changeable situations. When coping with the complicated difficulties, the two sides come to practical compromise.
