Development of Contemporary University Campus Songs under Perspective of Music Sociology

The composition and transmission of campus songs have been active in the campus culture stage of contemporary universities, behind which is reflected the deep--leveled cultural phenomena and human social life style. Campus songs are of importance in social construction and are of special culture. In its development direction, campus songs may start from their nature of popular culture and further expand its aesthetic and entertainment functions; under the shock of multiple cultures, they should mirror concern about students＂ collectivity; in terms of music itself, they ought to tab ethnic features and inherit cultural traditions.
